Eva Gil Schäfer, Co-Founder

Eva has spent her professional career working in situations of conflict and authoritarianism, supporting local democratic leaders and opposition movements, grassroots activists, and legal professionals to build solid frameworks for inclusion and participation. Her academic background in international economics and political science prepared her to encourage diverse counterparts to develop and continuously adapt their strategies for social and political change. Eva spent ten years working on constitutional and electoral reforms in Asia, and recently reconnected with partners in Latin America where she can work in her mother tongue. As a good Mediterranean, she has a soft spot for the Middle East and North Africa and is working on her Palestinian Arabic language skills while supporting the cause for democratic participation in the region.

Eva doesn’t have a motorcycle or a dog though she loves both and would like to have either - but her free spirit leads her continuously to diverse places.
